@ Carolina & Maria's

Today we met at my house!!! I am glad that we were all able to be together. I hope that everyone had fun!

Ok, first the kids played with play-doh and then, they went on exploring and doing their own thing. Some of them played inside the playhouse; others played using their abilities to jump the rope or pushing each other in the wagon.

Ray (Marcelo) was our waiter today and he was fabulous. We definitely have to hire him again. He prepared Frozen Lemon Daiquiri and honestly, some of us were already on a trip. We were so relaxed, we decided to take a nap and Ray volunteered as a nanny for a while. Wow! what a separation time. Jenny,,u r soo funny!! Me encanta what u say: Playdates would be better without the LRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jaja! That is so funny! We have to start planning our next get away (night dinner)..I am ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok,, the kids had pizza and Marcelo (the waiter) had tacos for the ladies. He was a hit today!! YOU GOT IT GOING ON MICURRI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soooo sleepy because of the daiquiries... I am ready to go to sleep. I do not think I can even go in the treadmill. jaja!!

Well ladies,,, enjoy the pictures!!!! I enjoyed them very much! Jenny, thanks so much for being the photographer for the day!

Why should we be so lucky to have such wonderful playdates? Our kids used to be the lucky ones, but I have to say...WE are pretty lucky ourselves! The mexican fiesta was AWESOME!!!! Que viva Ray!!! OLE!

Today at the Medina Mexican Fiesta, a great time was had by all. Some more than others, but we will get to that shortly.

We were very honored today to have the presence of Señor Ray, what an attentive and generous host he was. And great at cleaning-up the mess afterwards. We should definitely hire him to cater other events for us.

The fun morning began with the kids coloring the pretty ladybug and flower templates, Carolina enjoyed it the most.

Then they moved on to the play-doh where TJ and Tonito absolutely had to have the same red knife, No other knife would do the job.

The kids played in the playhouse kitchen and knocked it over to redecorate and reorganize things the proper way.

Meanwhile the moms were enjoying salsa and chips, while sipping the surprisingly refreshing margaritas. OOOOOOHHHHH, AAAAHHHHH!! Que Rico!!

We relaxed so much that we all laid out on the lounge chairs while Señor Ray supervised the children during our siesta.

When we woke up from our naps, lunch was served. The customized build-it-yourself tacos were delicious, the guacamole was delicious, everything was delicious!!!!!! Thank you so much for a gassy afternoon, my husband really appreciates it...I'm finally giving him some competition! Noooo, I'm just kidding...kind of!! Uhm, does anybody have Gas-X!!

Then on to the entertainment part of the date: we got to watch Ray and Maria's wedding video. Oh, how beautiful it was to watch the lovebirds taking their vows of celibacy.....I mean vows of eternal love.

Young love, fresh faces, loving families and Maria throwing up in the bathroom while Ray drank champagne and smoked cigars!! A true recipe for everlasting love!

I have already told my honey that he has to have the bbq ready for next Monday's playdate at our house, the pressure is on!

And we encourage all husbands to be presente so that the moms can make the most of separation time!!

And finally, I love you Medina's...you guys are the best!!

Ok ladies!!! I feel terrible that you ladies have not stopped passing gas. Was it the Tacos, the chips & salsa, or the daiquiris? I guess my cooking was not too good to your stomachs. I promise, next time it won't be Mexican, so no more guacamole for you all... Maybe a nice Baked Ziti with my famous homemade marinara sauce, some Garlic bread and a wonderful salad. I can't forget the kids’ right? Mac & Cheese for them. I almost forgot... How about the drinks? Ideas anyone?

Qué viván los peos! I just did one too!

My friends Ibis, Jenny and Maria. I love you guys. We are very lucky and blessed to have found each other and to be able to have good times, good fun and good laughter (I will try not to mention good gas) every time we get together. Let's never change.

Wait...i need to wipe the tears from my eyes...boo hoo...okay now, where was I??

Oh yeah, we have become very close and personal in a short amount of time and are able to tell each other "anything" and sometimes "everything". What is Ibis favorite saying again??, "that is way too much information!!!" Does that sound familiar? Well too bad, take it or leave it!

I am so glad that Ray did not get scared off of our playgroup, I think we should initiate another new member.

I love it that he is already taking orders and reservations for next time....you go, boy!!

If that is the case, I will open the bids for my husbands day on Monday. Any suggestions or requests????

Daniella...You absolutely better be available to join our activities in the summer time. Jillie is so excited to hang out with you and the raindrops every week. She keeps asking every Monday if this is the Monday that she can come with us. She is more than willing to miss a day of school for our kind of fun.

Hurray for our new babysitters...can't wait to have our big girls with us every week.
