ok,, I just noticed that our last blog was posted on June 19th!! Not even a hello or goodbye in between then and now. What is that? Anyway,,, it's ok!! Here we still are and that's all that matters. Today we met @ the Jicha's and we had a wonderful time as usual. We missed Ibis a lot,, it's never the same without u!! Well, it's never the same when one of us is missing. Ok,,, I got to Jenny's @ 10:28am, go figure!!!!! The kids were so happy to c e/o. Ok,, Jenny had 'Mojito' today to drink. It was so refreshing. I never cared if it had alcohol as I drank it like water. I did feel relaxed afterwards so it must have had some alcohol in there; if not, Jenny then poured something in there to make us relaxed since we have not seen e/o in soo long. jaja!

Jenny also had my all-time favorites brownies and Janel's chocolate strawberries. We were sitting outside and Janel took the whole plate of strawberries and ate most of them all by herself. She kept on saying that the chocolate on the strawberries was going to melt so she was doing everyone a favor by eating them. jaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For lunch, we had Ibis' style wraps and a delicious salad. OMG! they were awesome. I was super full afterwards. The kids had an awesome twinkle star sandwich made by Jenny. Jillie had 3 sandwiches after Janel kept on saying that Jillie did not like ham and cheese sandwiches. I guess mom learned not to understimate the power of Jillie Campo. hmmm!!!

We had two wonderful guests today: Eiden and Cristina (mom). It was a pleasure having them and I hope that they can join us again soon. Cristina is superrrrr nice and Eiden is adorable. Carolina wanted to attack Eiden already with a kiss. Ay dios mio!!

ok guys!! Overall, the time we spent together was priceless. Tomorrow we are meeting at the Amaretto Country Club as per Ibis' request. So we will see e/o there. JENNY,,, please try to make it!! I know you were saying that your day Friday was busy, but I hope u can make it.

LRD'S HEADQUATER SUMMER FUN MEETING: 06/19/07

We meet again. And today we all were able to make it, hurray, hurray!!!!!!!! We celebrated our fun together plus JENNY's birthday, which is on July 2nd. Happy Birthday Jen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had such a great time today. Janel ordered pizza today and she made a great friendship with the pizza driver. There is a picture of them on the blog. The kids played in the pool and had a blast, as usual. The pizza was delicious and the cake was awesome.

Ibis did a choo-choo train with the LRDs!!!!!!! Enjoy the pics!!! You know what to do!!
Next time, we have to continue our swimming lessons. We have kind of forgotten about that! I know we want separation time but too many accidents are happening and our LRDs need to learn how to survive in any situation at the pool.

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!!! Loving Raindrops and Company Find New Clubhouse!!

Today the little Loving Raindrops and Company group met at the Amaretto Pool with the sole purpose of enjoying each other's company and having a fun time in the Florida sun. Little did they know that they were about to find their new headquarters for the summer months! The Amaretto Pool and Clubhouse is the perfect environment for upcoming meetings, reunions, or just simply for hanging out. The pool is large and exceptionally clean. The pool deck is very spacious with plenty of lounging areas, shade, and lots of room to run and play. The clubhouse area is equipped with fully functional restrooms, tables and chairs for luncheons, and at times a television set to catch up on the weather and news. The palms and coconut trees add to the lush landscaping that makes the area so appealing. The area is even fenced and gated for the safety of the little ones and for the peace of mind of their caretakers. What luck to have found this place!

The group, of course, gravitated towards the ultraclean pool immediately upon arrival. The water temperature was wonderful and the group had an awesome time swimming, splashing and enjoying each other. The luncheon, provided by the Medina Family, consisted of crunchy chips and salsa, 2 varieties of thin-crust pizza, oreo cookies for dessert, and plenty of diet coke and water. Following the luncheon, the typical South Florida weather took hold with a couple of huge rain clouds. However, the Loving Raindrops and Company, who happened to be in their own element, did not allow this to dampen the cheery mood. They swam and pranced around in the rain enjoying every minute of it for it is not often that one is able to enjoy warm rain without there being the accompanying thunder and lightning. "This is so much fun" and "this beats any summer camp" were just some of the comments heard from the group.

Of course, our group was incomplete today. The Jichas were unable to attend today's soiree due to family health reasons. We missed them ever so much and we wish their loved one a speedy recovery and hope for their quick return to our group next week.

Our session next week, which will take place on Tuesday at the new Clubhouse, will be hosted and served by the Campo Family. We await, with great excitement, the next great adventure and fun day! Till then, enjoy these captured memories by clicking on the Clubhouse picture. Tataa.........

Beach Day!! --06/10/07

BEACH BABES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok girls!! We had an awesome day today!!!! Que rica estaba esa agua. Jenny, we missed u sooo much!! and TJ also!! We took pictures, played, bothered each other, we had a blast. You have to come next time. I love this group because we always make it important to spend time with each other and that is very special to me. We do not only get together because of our kids but because we have become such good friends. I am really happy with this small circle of friends that I have found. Thank you all! I could not be happier. It was a nice day today... we spent the entire day at the beach and at the pool. We did swimming competitions and the guys did some aerobics in the pool. Tony snorkled. Ibis had a crab walking inside her bathing suit. Ohhh,, and can u believe this old dude walked by us and told Tony that he needed to drink agua con verengena para la gordura. We were like whatttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How rude was that!! Tony was minding his own business and then the old dude sat with Tony and started reading his hand and his future. Tony se ganó al viejo. Despues habia una vieja que Ibis la llama 'La Vieja del Comitè de No Hacer Nada' and she started minded our business telling us that our kids could not be in the jacuzzi. ay Dios mio!! too much for one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Ibis, Janel left by accident her surprise at your beach condo. Take it to her to our next reunion please. Don't say what it is because Jenny has not seen hers. jaja!

Ok,, so it's here at my house on Friday! Is it ok with u guys if we do pool morning that day?? and I was planning on ordering pizza or if i come up with something else, we will eat there anyway. There are tables and everything we need to be comfortable. Let me know what u guys decide. We all have to go in the pool. ohhh,, When I got home today, I got my period. Good timing... right before my vacation so I do not have to be worrying about that during my trip.

What are the plans for Tuesday or TH??? What day do u guys prefer? I think movies was a good idea but I am afraid of the behavior of these little ones at the movies. So I do not know,, any thoughts!!!!

Ohhh,, I know,, this is the longest blog ever,,, but I was thinking,,, we gotta make plans this summer for a get away to Sanibel. Who is interested? I better hear everyone say they are. jaja! I was thinking we can rent 2 small cottages and we can divide the price. Two families in each cottage. What do u guys think?? Check out the link here and let's think about a date. Look at the prices here in the below link. Sanibel is a little island passed Ft. Myers and very close to Naples (to those of u who have not been there). That should be fun. We can rent bikes or take our own bikes and ride around the island. The island is completely flat and there are bikes everywhere. There are many other things to do. ok guys!! Enjoy the pics!! We used to go every year. We have not gone this year so it should be fun going altogether. We have always stayed at these cottages. They are super spacious with 2 large bedrooms/baths and an spacious kitchen and living room. They are like large apartments. Two families can stay in each cottage. It would be the Jicha's and the Campo's because we have to balance the occupancy since the Campo's are 4 and the Jicha's are 3. And The Medina's and the Maimo's in another cottage, since the Medina's are 4 and the Maimo's r 3, or viceversa...... any way it would be awesome. Get me??? There are sofa beds in the living room so that kids can sleep there too. You guys,,, I really would like to do this. How is the week of 07/24/07 for everyone?? from a Wed. to Sat.?? or something like that!!

@ Ibis & Elizabeth's: 05/31/2007

Ibis, thank you for a wonderful playdate. I hope that this is better than just reading a good book. I always remember what u once said to me, that you just wanted to be reading a good book instead of dealing with toddlerhood again. Well my friend,,, I must say that you, as well as US, have been blessed with such precious creatures. I cannot stop looking at the pictures in this blog and feel so lucky for the children we have and for the friendship and group we share. Thanks to all!

Ok,,enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! back to the fun part!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY the pics ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today we had delicious wraps made a la Carte by Publix delivered to Mrs. Maimo. We also had delicious Pink Lemonada Daiquiri a la mode. And for dessert, we had a Maimo's unique cheesecake homemade. The best cheesecake ever... Forget Cheesecake Factory with its famous cheesecakes,,,, Here comes Ibis with her special recipe. The kids had pizza and cup cakes. They loved eating and stuffing those cup cakes into their mouths.

It was a fun day. The kids got in the pool while Jenny started out as our lifeguard on duty. We had 2 beautiful guests today: Daniella & Jillie. They prepared their towels to get a sun tan in the Maimo's deck. They had some separation time of their own and they did not want the LRD to follow them as they were enjoying their separation time. You go girls!!!

Ok,,, Janel mentioned today regarding our next night out. Please check your schedules and see if we can all do it this coming Wednesday. You guys wanted Mexican so we can try Taco Bell,,, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jaja!! Maybe 'On The Border'. So check with your hubby babysitting services. Enjoy the pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go to Walmart and see if I find Jillie's bathing suit.

05/27/2007: Hollywood Beach-->@ The Maimo's Condo

Well........ what an exciting day! We went to the Maimo's Condo @ Hollywood Beach. We had lots of fun @ the luxurious Alexander Towers. Daniella, Elizabeth, & Carolina had a blast at the pool playing with all kinds of toys. Daniella was hired as our personal separation time assistant but at the end of the day, she quit without pay. She just wanted OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! She even warned us that on our playdates, she will have some good separation time. jaja! Ibis, remember that? So, I hope she was just kidding!

Anyway, you will see one of the pics how Ibis was talking to Elizabeth at the beach in a corner,,, hmm!! well,, she was doing a 'Jenny Talk.' E. went wild at the beach and started throwing sand to everyone who would come her way. She wanted to have fun,,, cut her some slack. On the other hand, Mike (Mr. Maimo) se daba unas desaparecidas. jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Decia que iba a buscar algo y se iba al condo a mirar shows de Golf. And then, he brought Ibis' new camera in a new water proof bag called 'Publix waterproof reusable bag.' That bag was excellent for Ibis' new Nykon D40X!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tremenda camera que se compró Ibis, which Mike kept the receipt to return it one day when Ibis gets tired of it. But Ibis made it very clear that she loves her camera and nothing was going to come between her and her Nikon. Asi que compórtate Mike. Vamos a ver!!!

Ok,, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!! We definitely had a blast! Just sitting and relaxing at the beach. The weather was perfect (not hot nor humid). Me and Ibis had some separation time of our own while Daniella did some modeling close to the waves of the ocean and E & C extended her hands (see pic) calling Daniella to come back. We laughed, we screamed, we relaxed, we did it all!! We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were the first ones to entrenar the Maimo's at the Beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for inviting us guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did E. sleep when we left????????

Thursday at the Campo's

Today we met at Tonito's house.

Maria and Carolina won the early bird special by arriving a miraculous 15 minutes early....good going girls!!

We relaxed on my new sexy red lounge chairs...





While the children built incredible 20 story buildings at the sand and water tables...









VIP Guest of Honor today was my handsome loving husband Tony...



Tony is teaching the kids how to swing out of a sticky situation...a very valuable life lesson.

Good Evening, my friends.

The Campo's and Medina's met at Rotelli's tonight for some food and fun.


We met up with the Charlie's Angels and they said they were keeping their eyes on this strange couple they have been investigating.

Here we see Charlie relaxing...what a hard worker.




This is his little protege' doing some undercover work...he's got his eyes on the target...just in case something goes wrong.


This is the couple we have to watch out for..Ray and Maria...they are bad news!!!


Look how she is signaling her partner Ray to go thru the pretty lady's purse while she is distracted smiling for a photo.


Did you see that??? They made the switch under the table...the purse is gone.





Here Ray is trying to buy Charlie a drink to keep him distracted from what is really happening.


Ray is trying to bribe Charlie with a pizza if he keeps his mouth shut and does not call the police.


AHHHHHHHHHHH!! A pizza with the works!

The devious couple slipped out the back door while Charlie and his Angels were devouring that hot cheesy pizza pie.


Those two escaped once again!
"We'll get them next time", says Charlie to the Angels...Let's Eat!!




And they drank plenty of coffee because they'd be up all night looking for the missing couple.


In the meantime, nobody realized until it was too late that there was a strange smell coming from the corner table...the stinky lady had taken off her shoes....UGH!! Oh no....!!!!!!


We must all hold our breaths or die of Funky Foot Intoxication...this is a very nasty gas that once released into the air will knock a person out in seconds.
